WFP Midwest is excited to announce a new speaker Fermina Zarate Dominguez, an indigenous Mixteca farmer representing the organization CEDICAM. Unfortunately, Cesar Morales is unable to leave Mexico due to changing circumstances on the ground with CAMPO. "Since 2003, Fermina has been part of the technical team of CEDICAM, promoting her experiences of soil conservation, reforestation of native trees, rainwater recollection, conservation of native seeds and food production, while promoting the importance of conserving a local food culture that includes products grown in the milpa system."
