A Journey into Agtivism: Elevating Public Education and Transforming School Lunch
Mim Michelove is the Co-founder and CEO/President of the San Diego-based nonprofit Healthy Day Partners, and Founding Director of EUSD Farm Lab where she established the first certified-organic, district-wide Farm to School program in the United States. Her work in designing and implementing nutritional and environmental wellness education, and creating school gardens and urban farms that provide meaningful, experiential learning opportunities, has amassed numerous regional, state, and national awards.
Mim is now leading Healthy Day Partners to address food and health equity issues, and working across the state of California to incorporate healthy, sustainable and equitable programs that nourish and heal people and planet through healthier food systems, ecological practices, and environmental education.
