Perspectives on Iowa Water Quality

Chris Jones is a Research Engineer at IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering at the University of Iowa. He has BA in Biology in Chemistry from Simpson College (Iowa) and a PhD in Chemistry from Montana State University. His research interests include water monitoring and contaminant hydrology in agricultural watersheds. He manages the university’s network of real-time water quality sensors that are deployed at about 60 sites around the state of Iowa. At the Sustainable Agriculture Colloquium, he will discuss water quality issues in Iowa.
