Lara Moody, Executive Director, Institute for Feed Education and Research

We are excited to host Lara Moody, the Executive Director at the Institute for Feed Industry Education & Research (IFEEDER), for this week's colloquium. Ms. Moody leads the foundation's direction and strategy to advance understanding and trust in a sustainable feed and pet food supply chain through research and education. Her presentation is titled “Navigating Sustainability in the Animal Feed Industry.”
Prior to joining IFEEDER, Ms. Moody was Vice President of Stewardship and Sustainability at the Fertilizer Institute (TFI), and she has worked in research and extension at The University of Tennessee and Iowa State University, where she focused on reducing the environmental impact of animal manure and nutrient management systems. Ms. Moody is a Registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural engineering and a Master of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
