A formal admission review is required for co-major, transfer, double degree and PhD track requests. The same admission standards used for external applicants will be used for internal applicants-see the main Admissions page for these requirements. The following must be submitted:

• A nomination letter from a current SUSAG faculty member who is willing to be your major professor. The letter should include a funding plan.
• A statement of purpose describing interest in the major and planned research.
• An unofficial copy of ISU transcript.  If you are new to ISU, please provide transcript(s) from previous institutions.
• A current resume or curriculum vitae

All materials should be sent in a single email and as PDF files to susag@iastate.edu.

If the application is approved by the program, a separate process will take place in Workday through the Graduate College.
