Iowa State Graduate Program in Sustainable Agriculture alum Hannah Dankbar was featured in the June edition of the Southern Rural Development Center's newsletter "Around the South". The article details her recent work with North Carolina State Extension as the Local Food Program Manager where she assists local food producers and facilitators across the state. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she worked as a land use planner to help with sustainable management of the area surrounding the Columbia River on the coast of Oregon. Hannah graduated from Iowa State University in 2016 with dual degrees (M.S./M.C.R.P) in Sustainable Agriculture and Community and Regional Planning with Dr. Gary Taylor serving as her major professor.
