The goal of my research program is to develop improved and sustainable management practices for economically important diseases of corn and soybean in Iowa and thereby reduce yield losses. Our research projects concentrate on improving our understanding of the biology of the pathogens we study, the disease cycle and epidemiology of each pathosystem, and the interaction of the pathogen with its host.
