Carly Strauser is a graduate student pursuing a Master's Degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Horticulture. She is working with Dr. Ajay Nair to study sustainable weed management in vegetable production systems. Her research focuses on tarping as a way to manage weeds prior to planting. She will also investigate what effect tarping has on soil health and microbiology.
