My research and extension activities focus on commitment to maintaining and improving agricultural productivity while working toward an agriculture that is more just and environmentally sound. Areas of interest include climate change and agriculture, water quality, non-operator landownership, natural resource-based rural development, and agri-environmental policy and practice in general.
