Kevin Ellis is an alumnus of the Graduate Program in Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University. While in Ames, he received dual degrees in Sustainable Agriculture and Community and Regional Planning. Prior to enrolling, Kevin worked as a Sustainable Agriculture Specialist with the National Center for Appropriate Technology where he provided technical assistance to farmers and ranchers around the country in the areas of poultry production, pasture management, marketing, and food systems. He is the author of several publications, and has created videos and podcasts covering a variety of topics relating to sustainable agriculture. In addition to his work at NCAT, Kevin served as a board member for the Food Policy Council of San Antonio where he worked to increase healthy food access across the city. Kevin also has a Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
