Vivian M Cook, originally from Prescott, Arizona, received her B.A. in Performing Arts and French at Iowa State University. Her research and performance focus is on interdisciplinary, community-based collaborations through the performing arts. Vivian is pursuing Master’s degrees in Community Development and Sustainable Agriculture, and a graduate certificate in Youth Program Management and Evaluation, as she continues to explore how the arts can be used as a tool for community engagement and environmental communication. She is co-producer for Ames’ Focal Theatre Lab and ISU’s One Day Plays, member of the Ames Climate Action Team and The EcoTheatre Lab, and volunteer with The Community Academy.
